Sleek Face Form – Guest Blog By Bhavika Raichura
A beauty must have for all you beauty lovers, whether you’re a beginner or a professional this product is a game changer! The Sleek Makeup Face Form in “Light” http://www.sleekmakeup.com/makeup/face-form-contour-light is the perfect product to keep in your makeup bag! This product has three lovely elements to it – contouring powder, highlighter and blusher.
Let’s start off with the contouring powder; this is great for those of you with light to medium skin tones as this colour is a deep matte brown without any shimmer. When contouring you should always use a few shades darker than you to ensure that you’re giving your face some shape and definition. I always contour just under my cheekbones to add some definition.
Next comes the highlighter, it is a lovely beige colour with champagne shimmer to give that dewy effect and this step really is great to achieve glowing skin. Applying highlighter to certain points on your face will ensure that they stand out. I like to apply it to the top of my cheekbones and my brow bone. I absolutely love the effect this highlighter has on my skin as it looks so subtle, yet when it catches the light it has a lovely pearlescent colour to it.
Last but not least it is blusher time! So I don’t know about you guys but I have always been a big fan of high end brands but they are just too expensive! Nars is such a beautiful cosmetics brand and a popular product is their blush in the colour “Orgasm”. However I personally think that the Sleek blush that is included in this palette is such a great dupe for the Nars blush. The blush from Sleek does come on its own also known as “Rose Gold”, this is such a beautiful colour as it has rose gold undertones to it and has the perfect amount of shimmer! I honestly suggest for you to all try it as it will look lovely on all skin tones!
Let me tell you a few other reasons to love this product! The price of this gorgeous palette is only £9.99 from Boots and I have been using mine for just over half a year and I can tell that this will last me a while! You can actually use all of these colours as eye shadows, I personally use the brown shade through my crease as a transition colour and also to achieve more depth, the highlighter can be used in your tear duct area to brighten your eyes and the blush can be used for all over your eyelids. All of the shades are well pigmented and easily glide on to the skin, the great thing is that you can build on these without it looking cakey.
The packaging is great, it comes with a mirror and it is convenient to carry with you on the go. This product is also a great dupe for the Urban Decay “Naked Flushed” which is £22.50, so if you are on a budget or you just want to try out something new then definitely go straight to Sleek Makeup! There is also an added bonus that I personally think is a great aspect of the Sleek Makeup products is that it does not test on animals.
I hope you all enjoyed this post!
